Wake County is growing and we want to invite you to join our Facilities, Design and Construction team. We are seeking to hire two new Facilities Project Manager expansion positions. The first position has a concentration in the areas of planning and design of new building construction and renovations including public safety facilities, libraries, multi-services facilities, detention projects, and even entertainment facilities. The second position has a concentration in the areas of planning and design of site oriented landscape and hardscape projects that consist of parks, greenways, nature preserves, playgrounds, utilities, trails, pavement/hardscape, road improvements and solid waste facilities/recycling centers. Essential Functions:
- Provide turnkey project management including planning, fiscal oversight, team coordination, design supervision, and construction administration for multiple design and construction projects
- Prepare project schedules and complex capital project budgets
- Monitor schedules and expenditures to assure compliance with the Capital Improvement Program
- Get the job done so the public can enjoy the use of our awesome amenities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Landscape Architecture or Construction Management
- Three years of experience in facilities project management, and/or architectural, engineering or site design
- Valid Driver's License and "safe" driving record
- Equivalent education and experience are accepted
