Captain Challenger 350
Challenger 350 Captain (Must already be Type Rated CL-30)
Part 91 Flight Department is looking for an experienced Captain to join our 1 plane, 2 pilot operation. The ideal candidate will come with a corporate aviation background who understands the challenges and importance of being flexible. We are looking for a team player to share in the Co-Captain role of managing the aircraft, and someone who is detail oriented and puts an emphasis on safety. Due to training saturation with CAE and FSI, all applicants are required to be type rated in the Challenger 300/350 aircraft, initial dates are a year out.
The position is not commutable, and the plane is based at the Van Nuys California airport. Pilots are expected to live within a reasonable commute to the Van Nuys airport. The Challenger 350 you will be flying is the principles 3rd aircraft, all operated exclusively Part 91.
Most of the flying is domestic, however expect an occasional international and Hawaii trip. Expect a stable positing with a flight department that flies approximately 200 hours a year. The RON's average 15 per month, but busier months can be up to 22. Most trips are scheduled with greater than 3 days' notice, but the occasional pop-up (less than 24 hours' notice) does happen. The flight schedule is moving towards a 30-day cycle, and a 3-pilot crew, but currently it remains somewhat fluid and days off are covered with the use if contract pilots. Days off are coordinated in advance but can be utilized with short notice, provided coverage can be arraigned. The current 2 pilot scenario provides each pilot with 4 hard days off per month, you will also accrue vacation in addition to sick days. When a suitable 3rd pilot is hired, the target schedule is for each pilot to have 8-10 hard days off per month.

Requirements:
CL-30 Type Rating and experience on the Challenger 300 or 350 aircraft.
FAA ATP certificate with a clean record, 1st Class Medical and ability to travel unrestricted into Canada
4000 hours total, 2000 multi engine, 1000 Turbine and 200 hours in type.
