Research Data Analyst
Studies will be conducted focusing on the role of inhibitory pathways in dampeninib immune responses to tumors. Elaborate therapeutic strategies to reverse tumor-induced immune dysfunction to promote tumor regression in patients with advanced cancers. Responsibilities Include: Identification of novel major target of immunotherapy, TIGIT which is being investigated in multiple clinical trials by multiple pharmaceutical companies. Study the role of inhibitory pathways in dampeninib immune responses to tumors. Contribute to elaborate therapeutic strategies to reverse tumor-induced immune dysfunction to promote tumor regression in patients with advanced cancer. Collaborate in the preparation of, amendment, and renewal of relevant mouse protocols. Prepare and draft manuscripts related to the work. Assist in the generation of grant annual progress reports and updates. Similarly, the individual will contribute to/assist the laboratory PI in the development of/preparation of new grant proposals. Supervising and training new members of the laboratory. Training of graduate students, clinical fellows, and undergraduates in the lab will be a significant role. The ability to be a member of the team and integrate is an important aspect of the position. In addition, maintenance of laboratory safety records, assisting in maintenance of laboratory freezers and inventory will be required.
Job Summary
Applies scientific methodology to conceptualize, propose, and implement appropriate methodologies for statistical analyses. Maintains and updates centralized research awards database. Assists with grant preparations and clinical trial budgets. Develops and validates reporting data, validates data subsets of funding data, and facilitates quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy.
Essential Functions
Operation and maintenance of complex scientific instrumentation, computer competence, effective communication, handling of rodents, pathology collection.
Physical Effort
Moderate activity required. Will frequently travel to various laboratories or animal facilities. Experiments are long and complex and require extended periods of standing or sitting and concentration.
