Assistant Professor in Nursing, beginning Fall 2024 (Appointment-Stream)

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is currently seeking a Full-Time Assistant Professor of Nursing (Appointment-Stream) in the Division of Biological & Health Sciences, beginning Fall 2024.

Requirements: MSN required, DNP or Ph. D in Nursing (or ABD by September 1, 2024) preferred with at least one years’ nursing experience and a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates. Candidates must have current RN licensure or be eligible for RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania (dual licensure in New York State preferred), possess appropriate clearances, and BLS certification or be able to obtain these prior to the start of employment. Experience teaching at the university or collegiate level is preferred.

Responsibilities: Applicants must be able to teach twelve credits per semester, in Nursing at the undergraduate level. Preferred courses include ASN theory, laboratory, and clinical instruction and/or RN-BSN theory instruction. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience. Candidates with experience working with college students from diverse backgrounds and applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.
