The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of non-surgical weight management and/or obesity medicine. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Teaching responsibilities may include conducting clinical and education activities. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to teach in the endocrine fellowship and internal medicine residency programs in the Perelman School of Medicine. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing clinical care for patients with general Endocrine disorders including managing patients with obesity.

The new physician will be an integral member of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
