Social Media and Communications Coordinator, Sloan School of Management-Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship (part-time, 25%), to develop original marketing and communications content for the center and create social media that focuses on the ways the center supports MIT students in their entrepreneurial efforts and education. The main focus of the role will be on the regular creation of digital content projects and assisting with outreach across campus to increase awareness of what the Trust Center offers. Responsibilities will include the development of a Trust Center podcast and affiliated materials; social media campaign; email marketing; and general campus outreach to students, faculty, alumni, and donors. Additional responsibilities will involve providing support for major Trust Center annual events on an as-needed basis.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: B.A. in a related field; at least three years of communications experience; demonstrated writing and editing skills; experience creating digital content and podcasts; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; ability to work simultaneously on competing priorities, develop a process and follow through, work both independently and collaboratively, and work with a variety of internal customers to accurately interpret their communications needs; and knowledge of and experience and adeptness with social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.
