If you are someone who can juggle multiple tasks, knows what sports stories matter to Tucson readers and understands Arizona sports, you would thrive as a sports production and digital editor at the Arizona Daily Star. As production editor, you plan each page in each day's print sports edition of the Arizona Daily Star. You decide which national stories to run and which games to feature. You are the last set of eyes on the day's stories and we depend on you to find and correct grammatical and syntax errors, typos and logic problems with stories, headlines and cutlines. You work closely with remote designers, so you must be attentive to detail and able to follow a plan carefully and independently. You must be confident in your own news judgment but know when to ask questions. As sports producers, you take and produce video, make and post photo collections, edit podcasts and create other digital assets as needed.
