News Reporter - part time
The Post-Star of Glens Falls, N.Y., a Lee Enterprises company in the foothills of the Adirondacks, with the picturesque Lake George area as a main news focus, has an opening for a part-time reporter. Responsibilities include general assignment, features and community news reporting, including creating a weekly events roundup. The right person can guide this position onto new paths, including focusing more on area museums, theater and a fledgling city arts district. Producing photos, videos and social media components is part of the daily mission, as is source-building and working independently. A bachelor's degree with related experience is preferred.
