Basic Function

This is a professional expert, short term temporary hourly opportunity.

The Kern Community College District's is seeking Trainers / Instructors with experience training Industrial Maintenance Technicians to train in our program. Strong knowledge of industrial safety, power tools, technical drawings, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of five years industry experience is required Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities

ABILITY TO:

Meet schedules and timelines.
Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Travel as required
Establish good working relationships with a variety of individuals and organizations and facilitate inter-organizational cooperation.
Learn College and District organization and applicable operations, policies, and procedures.
Utilize internet research, computer word processing, electronic mail, and spreadsheet programs.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
