Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-Clinic

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient ambulatory care in the medical office/clinic setting.  

Responsibilities
-Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.

-Meets the communication needs of patient and family.

-Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the
supervision of a physician.

-Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and practice policies, procedures and standards.

-Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's clinical condition, including results of
diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

-Other duties as assigned.

Education/Credentials
High School Diploma or GED - Required
Licensed Practical Nurse Program - Required 

Experience
1-3 years of experience required

Licenses & Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - Required

Noise-Normal Clinic Noise

Chemicals or Hazardous Material/Waste Handled (See SDS Manual)
