Partnership Coordinator - MS Delta GEAR-UP

Salary Basis: 12 month

Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and implement the academic year and summer enrichment activities on campus for middle and high school students and families. May include but is not limited to: campus visits, engagement with college student mentors, coordination with Delta Proud, Financial Aid workshops, FAFSA completion workshops, serve as a connector between school and student needs and resources within the university, summer programming, and celebrations for National GEAR UP Week;
  2. Assist in data collection for student and parent services;
  3. Serve on selected GEAR UP Partnership Advisory Boards;
  4. Serve as a mentor and positive role model to GEAR UP students;
  5. Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in education, business administration or related field.
  • Experience working with and in public schools.
  • Knowledge of post-secondary education requirements and financial aid.
  • Bachelor degree in education, business administration, or related field.
  • Ability to establish rapport with adults and adolescents.
  • Bachelor degree in education, business administration, or related field.
  • 3 years of equivalent teaching or counseling experience with middle or high school students.
  • knowledge of post-secondary education requirements and financial aid.
  • Strong public relations skills and outstanding organizational skills.


Salary:
12 monthCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.

Minimum Qualifications:
