Technical Product Program Manager, Pitney Bowes, Shelton, CT (100% remote). Lead discovery, test, and implementation of the Collaborative Innovation Programs, including use of new technologies: robotics, factory automation solutions, AI and data integration, to facilitate Global Ecommerce logistics network optimization. Ensure the delivery of products to clients to enhance operations and logistics network. Ensure the highest value of delivery and lead suppliers and internal partners in identification of solution technologies. Lead integration teams through pilot/test phases of solutions, evaluate the effectivity of pilot/test solutions and propose scaling. Compile business cases (with finance) to communicate costs, benefits and justification for scaling. Propose scaled implementation timelines, quality expectations, and interlock on team/resource support needs internally, and with partners. Identify data integration requirements, and partner with appropriate groups to ensure seamless delivery, with the ability to share with a BI team for delivery of performance dashboards. Communicate and track progress of all Initiatives to Stakeholders and support ongoing Collaborative Innovation Strategy internally and externally. 100% remote; May work from home. Also 30% domestic travel required.
Must possess at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related Engineering field and at least three years of work experience with technical solution delivery. In the alternative, at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related Engineering field, and at least five years of prior progressive work experience with technical solution delivery is acceptable. Must also possess at least 2 years of experience with EACH of the following: fulfilment, and/or delivery of parcel logistics, and/or in the Innovation and/or Robotics fields; working with supplier partners to develop products to fit supply chain (warehouse operations and interlocking transportation) needs; in at least one of the following areas: Industrial Automation, Robotics, hardware and software systems related to automation, Data Integration, and/or AI related to automation; Six Sigma, PMP, and/or prior ‘process improvement’ and ‘ideation through implementation delivery process; solving operational problems to accelerate delivery and performance; project planning and management, including Office365. Must possess at least 1 year of experience leading and participating in cross-functional teams (direct and indirect reporting) and building 3rd party relationships.
